Swindon Wheelers Cycling Club welcomes Youth Riders aged 10–15 and Junior Riders aged 16–17. Junior Riders may participate in club rides, provided we have received a completed parental consent form and they meet the requirements set out within it
Membership
The Club is pleased to announce an expansion of our offering to young riders. Building on the success of the Peloteens initiative, led by Paul Ashman, Swindon Wheelers will extend membership to riders aged 10 to 15.
This new Youth membership category aligns with British Cycling’s age group structure and complements our existing Junior membership, which remains unchanged. Youth membership will be offered at an affordable £5, plus a £1 British Cycling administration fee.
We would like to welcome volunteers to join and support these rides as Youth membership grows. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Paul or Bev, see details below.
For a safe and enjoyable experience, parental consent and a pre-ride assessment will be required.
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of enthusiastic cyclists to Swindon Wheelers, to join click on the link below please: –
