The week in Mallorca which was organised by Ewen and Alison for the club and it was a brilliant time with a great hotel, good food, fantastic riding and great laughs and considering a lot of us hadn’t known each other much we all got on really well together, Sarah and Linda joined us even though they weren’t riding due to recovery and the non cyclists Amy and Sylvia as well.

Each night got better and better as we got to know each other and after organising a large table for dinner the seating in the bar expanded every night, we even met downtown for either ice cream or beer before dinner, not always together but we joined each other when we could.

We shared each other’s stories of the day, the fun and the frustrating bits and discussed the next days ride each evening long into the night for some.

We had the opportunity to watch the Flamingo Dancers “Ole”, Miss Elastic and we even had the choice of a singer/comedian or Bingo, the events were endless and exciting.

The best night was the last night, where an awards night was arranged, no expense spared and all in the best possible taste of course.

We did the awards early before The Tina Turner show started: –

We all made a donation for Ewen and Alison so they could have a meal out together for a thank you for organising the trip, the rides and doing all the hard work and keeping us together.👏👏👏
