The day started with several sessions running on the track, the track was designed to allow sections to be coned off allowing different activities to take place simultaneously. Today at one end, junior riders from CV were having coaching, whilst in the middle section there were learn to ride sessions on balance bikes by Nigel Davies and Paul Ashman, the remainder of the track was used for everyone.
The track was very busy for most of the day with cyclists of all abilities enjoying the track, there was even a mobility scooter going round, there are a number of adapted bikes located at there for those with disabilities or recovering from a stroke and these proved popular and riders of these joined families riding another portion of the track.
By early afternoon most families headed home, which left the track mostly free for the more serious riders, and club riders then appeared after their morning café rides to have a go riding the track -some doing more laps than others…
There were several stands, which included British Cycling, Romain and Get a Bike Fit Mitchells Cycling and Fit to Cycle among others.
All in all a good day showcasing what the track can offer to all abilities of cyclists.
