A sun soaked afternoon/evening BBQ was held at Lydiard Park on Saturday the 2nd of August 2025 with over 30 Wheelers and their families attending, some cycled, some walked and some drove and there were plenty of seats and space, although it did help to bring your own chairs.

It was a bring your own food event and for some it was from the basic burger and bun for others it was starters, main meal and dessert with their own cutlery, serviettes etc. and a fine selections of wines, gin, beer and other drinks were bought along too.

Some of children who came along played football and we even had Luka the dog there enjoying any leftovers from the BBQ and Chris Lawrence cycled 170 miles to get to the BBQ, he was a bit like Luka getting all the leftovers.
